Medisil Magic Touch: Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How is the Medisil Magic Touch different from the Hitachi Magic Wand Massager?
The Hitachi Magic Wand has rightly had a great reputation as North America's best selling vibrating massager for over 30 years. The Medisil Magic Touch is a technical clone of the world famous Hitachi Magic Wand, fully customised and certified safe for Australian voltage. The Medisil Magic Touch comes with a 1.5 metre power cord and requires no transformer for use in Australian and New Zealand power outlets.

Q: Is the Magic Touch waterproof?
A: No. The Medisil Magic Touch is a mains powered electrical product (240V) and must not be used in or near water. For your safety we strongly advise against use in bathrooms or any room in which the massager could fall into water.

Q: How should I clean the Magic Touch and its attachments?
A: For your convenience, the fitted massager head can be wiped clean and accessory attachments can be removed and washed in soapy water and rinsed or sterilised in boiling water. Be sure to turn off and unplug the massager from power supply before cleaning. Full safety, use and cleaning instructions are included with the unit.

Q: What is the Medisil Magic Touch made of?
A: The stem or motor enclosure is made of high quality thermoplastic, the components that come in contact with your body are manufactured using medical-grade silicone rubber - the same premium compound used for parts in heart pace-makers and other devices housed inside the human body. Safe and proven, silicone is non-porous, so it’s easily cleaned, and it warms to the body quickly - feeling much more natural than plastics. The Medisil Magic Touch comes factory fitted with a silicone rubber massage cap.
